Dav-LS553; KM-82. 76.17g. Madonna and child on clouds, two cherubs above with stars between; Reverse: ornate cross with 4 cherub heads and wings in angles, legend around. Unusually nice quality for this usually crude type with bold details and nearly complete legends. Pervasive and attractive dark gray toning with a hint of blue sheen that pops out when tilted in the light. By all means an impressive example destine for a fine cabinet. NGC AU-58.
