Fr-739a; KM-226; Mont-73. The gold souverain d'or was issued for the duchy of Milan by the emperor of Austria, who minted similar coins at Vienna (mintmark "A"), Brussels (angel face mintmark) and Hall (mintmark "F"). Lustrous and choice for the issue with a few contact marks in the central portrait that likely prevented an even finer grade. NGC MS-63.
