Fr-1240; Paolucci 51/1 (R5). An EXTREMELY RARE Ducat as a result of this Doge's reign lasting less than a year. This example, preserved in astounding condition, displays incredibly fresh fields that are free of marks and sparkle with intense luster and sharp central designs that blur a little along portions of the edges due to strike doubling. The second finest example we've seen, the finest appearing in a December 2006 Numismatica Genevensis auction where it brought a hammer of 58,000 CHF. NGC MS-64.
