LITHUANIA. Order of Gedimus, 2nd Class Neck Badge, ND (Established 1928).
56 x 49 mm. Barac-49; Werlich-683. Type II (issued 1930-1940). Iron cross with white enamel inserts on each arm. There are 3 gold rays between each of the arms, and a square central medallion with a red enameled castle gate symbol. The reverse is similar except 1918 / II . 16 (the date of the founding of the Republic) replaces the gate. Suspended from a 300 mm length of replacement neck ribbon (actually the type of ribbon appropriate for the earlier type I Gedimus Order) by an oval jump ring. Some minor flaking to the white enamel, otherwise EXTREMELY FINE.
