Fr-8; KM-148; Cal-Type 27#123. An important early date, produced during the period Mexico City was transitioning from hammered to milled coinage. This example displays a good strike and strong luster remaining at the peripheries and between devices. Rich and delightful dark orange toning appears in abundance and in synonymous with many of the Eliasberg coins. A light scratch through the date is the only blemish of note. RARE with the added appeal of a famous pedigree. NGC AU-55.
