MEXICO. 8 Escudos, 1814-MoJJ. NGC MS-62.
Fr-52; KM-161. A slightly better date of an uncommon type (the "imaginary bust" 8 Escudos appear far more often). Lustrous, without planchet flaws and rather better struck than average. For the record, we must mention a thin circular mark by the "VII-D-G-" on the obverse. Our first offering of this date since Ponterio sale 174 (January 2013, lot 2542). NGC MS-62.
