MEXICO. 8 Escudos, 1820-MoJJ. Ferdinand VII (1808-33). NGC MS-62.
Fr-52; KM-161; Cal-Type 20 #61; Onza-1271. Choice quality for the issue, possessing strong detail that is near complete due to a strong strike and glinting qualities in the fields that result from fine die polish. A few inclusions are seen on Ferdinand VII's cheek and appear to be remnants from planchet productions as other examples of this date are known with similar markings. Rarely seen finer, with the last instance being an NGC-graded MS-63 Prooflike that brought $11,162.50 in a 2016 auction. A compelling value with this estimate as such. NGC MS-62.
Estimate: $3500.00- $4000.00
