A design type which always stands out in any advanced collection and caps off the beautiful denomination set of 1937 specimens we are offering. The note is seen here in a bright and well inked specimen guise with four small punch cancels and "SPECIMEN," overprints at the signature panels. Large even margins house the layout with picture frame like quality and original embossing is easily noticed looking through the encapsulation surface. One of the previous examples we handled was a PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ graded note being a specimen as well and realized $7,670.00 as lot 8296 in our November 2010 Baltimore sale.
