Printed by USBEP. A rare high denomination and currently the finer of only two certified by PMG, the other being abysmal in comparison. Legazpi pictured at center. Blue seal at right, with a blue 500 obligation at left. The reverse shows the coveted light green back. Plate Position C. PMG mentions stains which can be attributed to light pink ink on the very bottom, and some staining in the margins. Neither of which are distracting from the overall design. Some pinholes at upper left we mention for accuracy. Overall an extremely attractive example, and likely the only one that will come available for quite some time. PMG Very Fine 30.
