THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 365-356 BC. AR Trihemiobol (11mm, 1.37 g, 11h). Head of the nymph Larissa right / [ΛΑPI], horse standing right, preparing to lie down; ΠΛEI in exergue. BCD Thessaly II 274; HGC 4, 474. VF, lightly toned, off center on reverse. Extremely rare denomination for series, one of approximately five known (one in BCD, two additional in CoinArchives, one in Helbing, 24 Oct. 1927, lot 2890).
