SYRTICA, Sabratha. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Time of Augustus to Tiberius, 27 BC-AD 37. Æ Semissis (19.6mm, 5.31 g, 12h). Struck after 17/6 BC. Sarapis standing facing with raised hands, holding spear; crescent to right / Capricorn right, holding globe, cornucopia on its back; rudder below. RPC 822; MAA 41; SNG Copenhagen 46. Near VF, dark green and brown patina with touches of red, some roughness. Extremely rare, only two specimens on CoinArchives.
