Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (19.6mm, 3.57 g, 3h). Rome mint. Struck 18-17 BC. Helmeted head of Mars right / Round shield with star in center, crossed sword and spear behind. RIC I 274; RSC 44. VF, lightly toned, a few deposits and light scratches on the obverse.
