Justinian I. 527-565. Æ Nummus (10.1mm, 0.80 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa 547-552. Helmeted and cuirassed facing bust, holding globus cruciger and shield / Lion walking right; within wreath. DOC I 332; MIBE 232; SB 311. Near VF, dark green patina with earthen highlights/deposits, a few tiny spots of bare metal on the reverse. Rare.
