Justinian I. 527-565. Æ 3 Nummi Weight (16.1mm, 3.31 g, 6h). Uncertain mint. Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Large incuse Γ. Bendall, Weights –. Fine, dark green patina with earthen highlights/deposits.

Although similar in size (weight and diameter) to a Justinian I Æ Pentanummium, this piece, with its squared-off rim, was probably made as a weight, and not a repurposed coin.
