British Coins, Victoria, sovereign, 1844, small 44, young head l., rev. crowned shield of arms within wreath (S.3852), a gorgeous sovereign shimmering with brilliant satiny lustre and exhibiting an evenly sharp strike, lacking only a few tiny details in the centre of the shield, light abrasions of no consequence in the soft gold, certified and graded by PCGS as Mint State 64
