Obverse depicts Moses sitting, with each of two Tables of the Commandments on either side, and rays emanating from above him. Obverse depicts image snake intertwined on a tree (Rod/Staff of Asclepius?) with the Jews crossing the Red Sea in the background, and rays of lightning from the sky; Courroy's name at edge. On rim the medal is stamped "1971" and "Bronze". Specks of oxidation in places.
