Obverse Hebrew legend: "The Company [Society] for the disemination of education ['haskala'] in Israel [i.e. among the Children of Israel]", with Hebrew jubilee dates below. Reverse Hebrew legend: "May there be Light!". Struck to commemorate society founded by wealthy Günzburg family in Saint Petersburg in 1863.
