US: gold colored tallion of the "Isaac Albert Research Institute" of the Jewish Chronic Disease Hospital, circa. 1958; size: 28.5 x 33.25mm; weight: 7.65g. Originally known as the "The Daughters of Israel - Home for the Incurables" founded in 1926 and later the "Jewish Chronic Disease Hospital" (1954); Albert was its president from 1944-66 and a research institute named for him was opened there in 1958. The institute is now known as the Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center of Brooklyn.
