Israeli error coin: Half Shekel (1996-97) whose first letter "Hey" in the Hebrew date has become the letter "Khet" instead, probably due to a filled die. The presence of a slight serif which extends beyond the left verticle line of this "Khet" indicates that the letter should really be a "Hey", as the letter "Khet" does not have such a serif. Weighs 6.55g (which is in the correct range of 6.35 - 6.55g for genuine Half Shekel pieces). In EF, and highly unusual. Included for comparison in the description are photos of a regular issued Half Shekel, placed to the right of photos of this piece.
