Romania > Bucuresci (Transylvania): "Jsak [Isaac] Focşaner" Zionist coffee and tea house brass token for 10 Bani (ND), c. early 1920's; no maker marks; size: 25.5mm; weight: 4.3g; medallic strike, beeded edge. Obverse: Star of David with Hebrew with "Zion" in center; legend "Jsak Focşaner * Bucuresci *". Reverse: "10" in center; legend "Cafenea si Ceainerie Moderna" ['Modern Coffee & Tea House']. Located 361 Calea Mosilor (1912). Zionist connection possibly due to owner's name: during 1st Aliya period (1860- 1903), 1st Congress of all Zionist Unions in Romania was held in this town of Focşani (30-31/12/1881).
