The Danish Brigade was a post-World War II occupation force, which served in Germany from 1947 to 1958. Initially numbering 4,000 men, it was stationed in Oldenburg in 1947, under British command. The force later moved to Itzehoe in 1949, numbering around 2,000 men and was eventually re-titled The Danish Command in Germany ("Den Danske Kommando i Tyskland") until 1958, when it was recalled to Denmark.
