Verlag Kaufhaus Schocken Nürnberg lot of 6x mint photographic postcards of Old Nuremberg (Series A - the Kaiserburg, numbered A1 to A6 on back), with contemporary Bauhaus-styled spacing for message & address; circa. mid-late 1920's. The Nuremberg department store was built in 1925-26 and owned by the Jewish brothers Simon & Salman Schocken. Salman founded Shocken Books publishing house and the family owns most of the 'Haaretz' Israeli daily newspaper.
