Eretz Israel/Yishuv/Israel(?) undocumented military organization emblem pin, c. 1940s; size: 3.3 x 1.55cm; weight: 3g. Design is very similar to another undocumented badge (see Lot #a60585) bearing the word "Zion" in color, in the center of the Star of David, in Bezalel style writing, and possibly related to World War I Palestine-Jewish veterans' organizations as the style is very similar to the German WWI veterans' emblem. That "Zion" badge is sometimes described as a "Jewish partisans badge" (eg. WWII era) but as the design is early 20th Century, this present badge without the word "Zion" and with a simpler and less artistic design may in fact be the supposed Jewish partisans badge or a badge for post-Holocaust anti-Nazi revenge units ("nokmim") - for which no information about it is known. Rare.
