Palestine/Yishuv: Irgun training manual "Book of the Gun (Summary)" ['Sefer HaEkdakh'], ND, circa. 1944-48. Rudimentary 92-page mimeographed manual with thick paper covers. Based on the seminal (and rare) 1936 work by David Raziel & Avraham Stern, "The Gun" - training manual that brought Hebrew-language military preparedness into hands of the rank & file members of Irgun - and into the hands of the uninitated public; it served as a cornerstone of the Irgun's military training. This abstract contains the core of the original content: gun types, bullets & trajectories, how to shoot, self-defence, trouble-shooting etc. Cover worn, pages pristine. Rare.
