BRITISH COINS, Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Groat, 1644, mm. floriated cross on obv. only, Rawlins' bust with lion's head on shoulder, rev. Declaration, Shrewsbury plume between two lis above, date and ox below, pellet before legend, 1.70g/6h (Morr. B-1; SCBI Brooker 956; N 2462; S 2985). Very fine but two old scratches in obverse field, rare £400-500
