MONOGRAPHS. Svoronos, I.N. "Θησαυρός Νομισμάτων εκ του χωρίου Μύρου Καρδίτσης της Θεσσαλίας," Αρχ.Δελτ. 1916, pages 273-335, plates Α΄-Η΄ (8 plates). 4to (23x30cm), quarter tan leather with gilt spine letters, raised bands slightly rubbed, marbled endpapers. Very Good.
A note from BCD: One is never tired to reconstruct this amazing hoard in his imagination by browsing through the 8 plates of this rare publication. This writer though always stops at no. 173 and its footnote, the little known exchange of correspondence between Svoronos and Imhoof-Blumer where they both create a mental picture of a still unknown Pharsalos stater!
