A note from BCD: Half a century ago congresses were much less complicated affairs. And yet, looking at the lists of supporters and participants, quite a lot of work seems to have been done to make this congress a success. The title subject was too vague leaving a lot of room for many different theories. However, there is no doubt that a jolly good time was the order of the week for all participants, although this would not be obvious in a serious publication such as this.
