A note from BCD: Central European coinage from the Middle Ages onwards as well as medals are featured on the five plates of this important and extensive collection of over 4700 lots. In the ancient series the accent is on the Illyrian autonomous bronze coinages of which we see a considerable quantity of 140 lots fully described in great detail on five pages but sold as one lot for 225 florins.
