AUCTION CATALOGUES. Glendining & Co., Ltd. London, 10 March 1965. No. 3. Catalogue of Ancient Roman & Greek Coins. 299 lots, 33 pages, 9 plates. (18.5x24.5cm) Original printed green card covers. Near Fine. Spring 244
A note from BCD: Here the plentiful Roman coins take precedence and are illustrated on just over five plates. They are mostly large bronzes of good quality with some rare reverse types. Lots 150 to 186 are Palestinian city coins from the Rothschild collection, most of them illustrated. Then come 34 lots of "Coins of the Jews" occupying a little more than a plate and finally 76 lots of Greek, of which some rarities or the most interesting coins are photographed on two plates.
