Deutsche Reichsmünzen. 1148 lots, 62 pages, 20 plates. (19x26.5cm) Printed silver heavy paper covers as issued, shelf wear, corner bent. Good.
A note from BCD: One of the very early auction catalogues of Gerhard Hirsch and as such quite rare. There were five crowded plates each for Greek and for Roman coins, the first half of the first Greek plate being Celtic coins. The photos were taken out of casts and the numbering on the plates was done by hand. A number of typos on names of mints create the impression that the text was dictated and not proofread.
