A note from BCD: The last series of Mario Ratto lists start at about the time that his son Marco takes over. From then on it was more or less a process of gradually selling the existing stock rather than continuing the business. Marco was too much of a gentleman to play the difficult and dangerous game that was necessary in order to survive and thrive as an Italian coin dealer in the 90's. This undated and un-named list has half a plate of gold and just over a plate of silver of Roman coin photos. Tipped in is a letter from Marco asking the client to contact him.
