A note from BCD: Browsing through these Rinaldi lists one cannot help comparing the coins that were then available with what is currently on offer at fixed prices on the Internet. It is now impossible for any one company to have available the quantity and especially the variety of coins that were the stock of the average dealer in the 50's. Today coins tend to gravitate towards auctions, either online or public and dealers prefer to have cash readily available (rather than coins in stock) just in case an important deal or collection turns up for outright purchase.
