AUCTION CATALOGUES. Rinaldi, Oscar & Figlio. Bound volume of fixed price lists. 1951 through 1954, missing 5 issues from a total of 37. April 1953 has 4 plates; July 1954 has 4 plates; also including "Catalogo Speciale Monete per Collezioni" n.d. [1952], 355 nos., 6 plates. (15x24cm) Quarter red cloth with gilt-lettered spine label, decorated boards. Shelf worn and one plate loose, 5 leaves repaired at lower right corner, otherwise Good.
A note from BCD: Browsing through these Rinaldi lists one cannot help comparing the coins that were then available with what is currently on offer at fixed prices on the Internet. It is now impossible for any one company to have available the quantity and especially the variety of coins that were the stock of the average dealer in the 50's.
