A note from BCD: Certainly, one of the most controversial catalogues ever written. The actual auction was a financial disaster for this writer as he was innocent enough to send very high bids with a long telegram to the auctioneer and then cancel them with another one when he found out that George Muller of Spink would attend the sale and could bid for him. Schulman, of course, "never received" the second telegram! Many rarities are to be found here, mostly amongst the Roman Provincials.
