Theodosius III Adramytium (AD 715-717). AV solidus (20mm, 4.23 gm, 6h). NGC MS 4/5 - 2/5, marks, clipped. Constantinople, 4th officina. d N ThЄOdO-SIЧS MЧL A, crowned facing bust of Theodosius III, wearing loros, globus cruciger in right hand, akakia in left / VICTORIA AVΣЧ Δ C, cross potent set on three steps; CONOB below. Sear 1488 (unlisted officina - only B, S and I noted). DOC 2, Part 2, 2 var. (only officina I noted). Very well struck and centered on satiny flan. Minimal clipping, leaving nearly the entire legends intact.
