Constantinople, AD 821-829. *mIXAHL-bASILЄЧS, facing bust of Michael II, wearing crown with cross and chlamys pinned on right shoulder, long cross potent in right hand, akakia in left / ΘЄOFI-LO dЄSP' + X, facing bust of Theophilus, wearing crown with cross and loros, globe cruciger in right hand, cruciform scepter in left. Sear 1640. DOC III, Part 1, 3b. An especially eye appealing example with nice surfaces.
