Leopold II 5 Francs 1880 MS66 PCGS, KMX8. A commemorative issue struck to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Kingdom of Belgium, displaying the conjoined heads of Leopold I and II on the obverse. The example is lustrous and nearly pristine, with a lovely peach tone put on full display throughout the fields and devices. It is noted that the old reference number for this type, KM-M9, is displayed on the PCGS holder. Currently the finest graded example at PCGS.
