Elizabeth II "Should Fold - Far Leaf" 5 Cents 1953 MS63 NGC, Royal Canadian mint, KM50. With shoulder fold, far maple leaf. A true Mint State, this rare date variety represents Elizabeth with a shoulder fold and the reverse maple leaf further from the edge dentils than is usual. Its surfaces near pristine, this specimen has been prevented from reaching a higher grade by two marks to Elizabeth's portrait; in all other respects this piece is near-gem, imbued with full frosty luster, powerfully struck giving full detail to the designs. A handsome example of a popular 5 Cents variety.
