A rare gold coronation medal, routinely crudely produced but represented here boldly rendered on an almost perfectly round planchet; the sole irregularity a flat area at 7 o'clock. Sharply detailed to both sides, a deep gold in color with a very light red patina teasing the eye. Scarce and seldom offered for sale, a highly attractive medal.
