The second highest certified example by PCGS (the highest certified only minutely finer at MS65), this coin is practically a gem and exhibits impressive eye appeal thus. Fully lustrous with the bold devices highlighted through a golden-red halo of patina, every detail well-struck up and crisp particularly on the reverse which boasts pattern-level production quality. Only a minor contact mark in the reverse center is worthy of note, as in all other respects this 5 Franc piece puts the viewer in awe. Superb!
