Republic gold 100 Francs 1910-A MS63 NGC, KM858, Fr-590. A later date in this highly collected series, represented in choice Mint State and positively bathed in cartwheel luster (a premium attribute of this often-matte type). The planchet a deep yellow with a hint of copper, well-struck with smatterings of contact marks in the fields. Just 20,000 pieces were minted in this year, and few of these survive in as appealing a condition as this present gold offering.
