A stellar offering of a seldomly seen gold type, the issues of Nürnberg are always popular, and especially so when they manage to remain as well-preserved as the example at hand. Struck on a slightly curved planchet, the piece exhibits an unrivaled appearance, the fields and devices displaying an almost frosty silver tone, unusual for a gold piece but lending great appeal. Exceptional, and the only example in Mint condition seen by NGC.
