Westphalia. Notgeld Inflation 1 Billion Mark 1923 MS64 PCGS, J-N28. Obv. Head of Baron vom Stein left. Rev. White horse of Westphalia. Struck in "neusilber," a mixture of copper, nickel, and zinc that actually contained no silver, this was the largest denomination coin struck during the difficult inflationary period. With mottled gray toning, bold strike, and surfaces near pristine, this is one of the finer examples of this popular issue we have seen.
