Edward III (1327-77) gold 1/4 Noble ND (1356-61) AU55 PCGS, London mint, S-1498, N-1191. Pre-Treaty period. A very attractive Quarter Noble, sharply struck on a good quality flan and richly colored a warm orange-gold. Unusual to find one of these fractional Nobles with such strong eye appeal; clearly a carefully made and well-preserved specimen.
