Edward III (1327-77) gold Noble ND (1369-77) AU58 NGC, Calais mint, S-1521, N-1281. Post-treaty period. Crowned King with sword and shield standing facing in ship, flag at stern / Floriate cross with e in central quadrilobe. A pleasing specimen, struck on a slightly uneven flan but with good strong detail and two areas of deep red iridescence. An excellent representative from Edward's last Noble coinage.
