Great Britain
Henry V (1413-22) gold Noble ND (1413-22) AU58 NGC, London mint, S-1742, N-1371. Crowned king on ship, a mullet and annulet by King's sword hand, a broken annulet on ship's side / Floriate cross, an h at the center and a trefoil in the second quarter. A gorgeous Noble from this short reigned monarch famous for his victory at Agincourt, bordering on Mint State. Besides a light and stable crack in the center clearly resulting from the hammering process, the flan is problem-free and the strike sharp (besides the reverse which has been struck from worn dies). An appealing and high-grade Noble.
From the Collection of a Berkshire Gentleman
