William & Mary Shilling 1693 AU53 NGC, KM480, S-3437, ESC-1076. An outstanding Shilling, and very conservatively graded. Somewhat weakly struck as is common for this type, and yet actual wear is barely present on the argent-gray surfaces; William and Mary's joint portraits exhibit excellent detail, far nicer than average for this scarcely represented issue. No distracting marks whatsoever mar the surfaces gleaming with subdued luster. A premium collector's piece, and sure to achieve a strong bid commensurate with its high eye appeal and excellent level of preservation.
