Anne copper Pattern Farthing 1714 MS62 Brown NGC, KM537, Peck-742. A bright, gleaming beauty, immensely reflective and well-preserved. Currency issue Farthings were never produced during Anne's reign, and all that survive are patterns struck in either copper or silver. This present specimen boasts immaculate surfaces, on which crisply detailed devices catch the viewer's eye. Some striking weakness is noted to the lower rim of the obverse, but this is hardly noticeable. An all-round superb offering.
