William IV gold Sovereign 1835 AU58 NGC, KM717, S-3829B. An outstanding survivor from a type which rarely approaches Mint State. William's Sovereigns are, more often than not, worn or damaged, rendering lustrous and sharp specimens such as this very rare indeed. In fact, despite its already elite status for the type one might believe this example has been conservatively graded, as it is essentially free from wear and significant detracting marks. An excellent selection, and we have no doubt that this premium piece will garner serious attention from discerning collectors of British Sovereigns.
