Victoria gold 5 Pounds 1887 MS63 NGC, KM769, S-3864. A huge and richly colored piece of 19th century British gold, offered here in Mint State. Somewhat prooflike, much reflectivity in the fields whilst Victoria's jubilee portrait appears more matte; few contact marks in the fields besides a scattering by Victoria's crown. Altogether a beautifully balanced and appealing specimen for the discerning collector.
