Victoria Penny 1895 MS65 Red and Brown NGC, KM790, S-3691a. Low tide variety. A gorgeous example of this popular type, fully deserving of its coveted gem-level certification. Vibrant red luster cloaks the sharp planchet, only slightly subdued at the highest points commensurate with the 'brown' aspect of its grade. An identically graded specimen in our New York sale January 2015 realized $1,800, and we expect comparative interest in this premium Penny.
